caption text displaying

    with or without displaying post thumbnails, if i turn on excerpts im getting the captions with the caption code for images displaying in the post excerpt. i saw another person with the same problem on the WordPress forum

    for example:
    "[caption id="attachment_1209" align="alignright" width="300" caption="sample caption text"][/caption]"

    additionally, when i add the option to display the featured image for the post, the image displays below the relavant post and next two an unrelated post. im not using a custom template

    Having the same issue here. I don't want thumbnails in my lists, but the thumbnail caption text displays anyway. Any idea on how to exclude? Thanks.

    Yeah, im having this issue too. Quite an issue!

    But there is a solution here

    Strange because in CatList.php there is code that says it is added to parse shortcode, so wondering why it doesn't work... some sort of template confilct?
